According to the ISO 15189:2022 standard, the international accreditation of the comprehensive clinic laboratories at Tanta University Hospitals has been renewed for certain bleeding and coagulation tests by the Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC).

   Prof. Mohamed Hantirah, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University and Chairman of the Board of University Hospitals, announced the renewal of international accreditation for the comprehensive clinic laboratories at Tanta University Hospitals in certain bleeding and coagulation tests by the Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC), in accordance with the latest edition of the international standard ISO 15189:2022.

  Prof. Mohamed Hantirah, Acting Dean of the Faculty and Chairman of the Board of University Hospitals, affirmed the keenness of the university administration—headed by Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, President of Tanta University—along with the faculty and hospital administration, to continuously develop the medical laboratories and equip them with the latest specialized medical and technical devices. He also extended his gratitude and appreciation to the Egyptian Accreditation Council, represented by Eng. Hani El-Desouky, the Executive Director of the Council, and all its staff.
