Prof. Mohamed Hanteera, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board of Directors, announced the victory of the ‘Samba’ team over the ‘Gunners’ team in the final match of the Tanta University Faculty of Medicine League. The tournament was held at the five-a-side field in the Medical Complex from October 18 to November 3, 2025, with a total of 38 matches.

  The event was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, President of Tanta University, Prof. Mohamed Hanteera, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board of Directors, Prof. Mohamed Gaber, Acting Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; and Professor Prof. Loay Al-Ahwal, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

  The tournament was attended by Mr. Mohamed El-Kosair, Director General of the General Administration for Youth Welfare at the university, and supervised by Ms. Wafaa Shelish, Director of Youth Welfare at the Faculty, along with Mr. Ahmed Abu El-Yazid, Supervisor of the Sports Committee, in cooperation with the Sports Activity Department of the General Administration for Youth Welfare.

The event was organized by the Students’ Union of the Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University, with the participation of 20 teams comprising 140 students from the faculty.
