After calling the council to convene, the Acting Dean of Tanta Faculty of Medicine presides over the first session of the faculty Council in its new formation for the academic year (2025–2026)

      Prof. Mohamed Sayed Hantira, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University and Chairman of the Board of University Hospitals, presided over the first session of the College Council in its new formation for the academic year (2025–2026). The meeting was attended by Prof. Loay El-Ahol, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Mohamed Gaber, Acting Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Hassan El-Tatawy, Executive Director of University Hospitals; in addition to department heads, unit directors, and council members. The session was held in the College Council Hall.

At the beginning of the council proceedings, Prof. Mohamed Hantira, Acting Dean of the Faculty and Chairman of the Board of University Hospitals, expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, President of Tanta University, for entrusting him with the duties of Acting Dean until the issuance of the Presidential Decree appointing a new dean. He also extended his deep gratitude and appreciation to former Dean Prof. Ahmed Ghoneim for his efforts during his two terms of deanship, which lasted for six years, during which he placed the Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University and its university hospitals at the forefront and in a leading position.
