Prof. Ahmed Ghoneim, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board, inaugurated the first scientific symposium on pediatric tumor surgeries.

The symposium was organized in collaboration between the Oncology Surgery and Pediatric Surgery units within the Department of General Surgery at the faculty. It was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, and Prof. Hatem Amin, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research.

The event was sponsored and attended by Prof. Ahmed Ghoneim, Dean of the Faculty and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board, Prof. Mohamed Hantira, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Sherif Shehata, Professor of Pediatric Surgery and Head of the General Surgery Department, who also chaired the symposium, and Prof. Ahmed El-Gendy, Assistant Professor of Surgical Oncology and symposium coordinator The symposium was held at the New Surgery Hospital, University Hospitals – Tanta University.
