Prof. Ahmed Ghoneim, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board, attended the inauguration ceremony of the Student Union of the Faculty of Medicine and the closing ceremony of student activities for the academic year 2024–2025.

The event was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, President of Tanta University, Prof. Ahmed Ghoneim, Dean of the Faculty and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board, and Prof. Howaida Ismail, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.

The ceremony was also attended by Prof. Mohamed Hantira, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Loay Al-Ahwal, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Magdy Wakouk, General Coordinator of Student Activities at Tanta University and Coordinator of the "Students for Egypt" family at the university; Prof. Elham Nassef, Coordinator of the "Students for Egypt" family at the faculty; and Mr. Mohamed El-Qosair, General Director of the General Administration for Youth Welfare at the university.

The event was held under the supervision of Ms. Wafaa Shalash, Director of the Youth Welfare Department at the faculty, along with department staff, and witnessed the presence of a number of faculty members, administrative staff, and students.
