Prof. Ahmed Ghoneim, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University and Chairman of the Board of University Hospitals, announced the launch of the 40th Annual Conference of the Faculty of Medicine, Tanta University, titled "University Hospitals: Between Challenges and the Future in the Era of the New Republic."

The conference will be held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, President of Tanta University; Prof. Hatem Amin, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research; Prof. Ahmed Ghoneim, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of University Hospitals as well as Conference Chair; Prof. Mohamed Hantira, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research and Vice Chair of the Conference; Prof. Hassan El-Tatawy, Executive Director of Tanta University Hospitals and Conference Secretary; Prof. Mohamed Mokhtar Mabrouk and Prof. Ragia Shersher, General Secretaries of the Conference.

The event will take place from April 22 to April 24, 2025, with the participation of 34 departments representing all clinical and academic divisions of the faculty. It will be attended by faculty members, teaching assistants, pharmacists, dentists, and students. The conference will also welcome a distinguished group of professors from medical faculties across various Egyptian universities, representatives from the Ministry of Health, the Health Insurance Authority, and fellowship doctors undergoing training at Tanta University Hospitals.

Additionally, the conference will include participation from the Tanta Faculty of Medicine Student Union and the Scientific Student Association.
