Prof. Ahmed Ghoneim, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board, inaugurated the scientific seminar held by the Department of Tropical Medicine and Infectious Diseases in collaboration with the Association of Gastroenterology and Hepatology Doctors and the Gharbia Medical Syndicate. The seminar, titled "The Latest in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Fatty Liver," was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Acting President of Tanta University, Prof. Hatem Amin, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Ahmed Ghoneim, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Mohamed Hantira, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dina Hazem Ziyada, Head of the Department.

The seminar was supervised by Prof. Abdulrahman Qaptan, President of the Association of Gastroenterology and Hepatology Doctors, and co-chaired by Prof. Hanan Al-Bassat, Head of the Therapeutic Nutrition Unit, and Prof. Hanan Suleiman, Head of the Fibroscan Unit. The scientific session was organized by Prof. Ibtisam Shadi and Prof. Mariam Nabil as coordinators of the event.
