The Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University organized a grand celebration to graduate two batches together for the first time. The 61st batch of the 5+2 system under the “Credit Hours System” for the November 2023 session, "Prof. Osama Abu Farha's batch" (former Dean of the Faculty), and the first cohort of the Credit Hours System for the May 2023 session, "Prof. Amjad Abdul-Raouf's Batch" (former Dean of the Faculty), were honored.

The event was attended by Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Acting President of Tanta University, Prof. Ahmed Ghoneim, Dean of the Faculty and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board, Prof. Howaida Ismail, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Mohamed Hantira, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Loay Al-Ahwal, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Osama Abu Farha, former Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Amjad Abdul-Raouf, former Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Ghada Atef, Prof. Walid Mamdouh, Prof. Abir Hadeeb (Graduation Ceremony Coordinators), Prof. Mohamed Gaber, Director of the Credit Hours Program, Prof. Ahmed Swelim, Director of the Main Hospital and the New Surgery Hospital, Prof. Mohamed Abu Farha, Director of the Comprehensive Clinic, Prof. Bahaa Tawfik, Chairman of the Doctors' Syndicate in Gharbia, department heads, a large number of faculty members, staff, students, and their families. The event took place at the Tanta University Stadium, in the Sabray Cumpas.
