Prof. Mohamed Hantira, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board, extended his congratulations to Prof. Mohamed Mohamed Mokhtar El-Badawy, Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, following the issuance of Decision No. 727 dated March 14, 2026, by Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, President of Tanta University, appointing him as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Postgraduate Studies and Research. He wished him continued success in his new role.

It is worth noting that Prof. Mohamed Mohamed Mokhtar El-Badawy obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine, Tanta University, in 1996, a Master’s degree in Internal Medicine in 2001, and a Doctorate in Internal Medicine in 2005. He progressed through the academic ranks within the Department of Internal Medicine, being appointed as a resident (demonstrator) in 2001, assistant lecturer the same year, lecturer in 2005, assistant professor in 2010, and professor in the Gastroenterology and Hepetology Unit in 2016.

He has also held several administrative positions, including Director of the Internal Medicine Hospital, then Acting Director of the Main University Hospital, and later Director of the Main University Hospital.
