The Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University announces the launch of the National Reading Project and invites its students to participate in the “Cultured University Student” track.
The National Reading Project is one of Egypt’s leading national initiatives, aiming to instill a culture of continuous learning, discover talents, and strengthen national belonging, in alignment with the Egyptian state’s vision for human development and sustainable progress.
Within this framework, the Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University participates in the project to promote awareness and enhance the university’s cultural environment, encouraging students to join the “Cultured University Student” track under the slogan: “Today the student wins… tomorrow Egypt wins.” This reflects the Faculty’s commitment to supporting national initiatives and its social responsibility in cultivating students’ cultural and intellectual awareness.
The track requires students across all academic levels to read a selected set of books in Arabic, summarize and evaluate them electronically through the project platform according to specific criteria. The evaluation stages begin at the faculty level, then progress to the university level, and finally reach the national level across Egyptian universities.
