The Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University, in collaboration between the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector and the Department of Diagnostic Radiology, will hold an awareness seminar on the services provided by the Women’s Health Unit at the New Surgery Hospital, titled “The Role of the Breast Imaging Unit in Community and Scientific Service.”

The seminar is held under the patronage of:

• Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, President of Tanta University

• Prof. Mahmoud Selim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development

• Prof. Mohamed Hanteera, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University and Chairman of the Board of University Hospitals

• Prof. Loay El-Ahwal, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development

• Prof. Hassan El-Tatawy, Executive Director of University Hospitals

• Prof. Hossam Zeitoun, Head of the Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Medical Imaging

• Prof. Ahmed Sweilem, Director of the Main Hospital and the New Surgery Hospital

The seminar will be supervised by:

• Prof. Naglaa Lotfy Dabies and Prof. Dr. Rania Sobhy Abukhadra, Coordinators of the Scientific Day

• Prof. Mona Quteit, Director of the Public Service Center at the Faculty

The event will take place on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM in Ibn Sina Hall, 3rd floor, Faculty of Medicine.
