Prof. Ahmed Ghoneim, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University and Chairman of the Board of directors of the University Hospitals, announced that the New Surgery Hospital at Tanta University Hospitals has obtained accreditation from the General Authority for Healthcare Accreditation and Regulation (GAHAR). This achievement comes under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, and Prof. Ahmed Ghoneim, Dean of the Faculty and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the University Hospitals, following the fulfillment of national quality requirements according to the standards issued by the Authority and recognized internationally by ESCWA.

 Prof. Ahmed Ghoneim emphasized that this accreditation represents a significant step affirming the leading role of Tanta University Hospitals in supporting the healthcare system and the comprehensive health insurance system. It reflects institutional development and continuous improvement in providing outstanding medical services with the highest quality standards to citizens. Moreover, it highlights the importance of cooperation between the Healthcare Accreditation and Regulation Authority and the university sector, represented by the New Surgery Hospital at Tanta University Hospitals.
