Prof Ahmed Ghanem, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, met with a delegation of students from the University of Bradford, specializing in Biomedical Engineering, at his office at the Faculty of Medicine. The meeting was held under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, President of Tanta University, and Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs. The meeting was attended also by Prof. Ahmed Ghanem, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, Professor Dr. Ahmed Nasr, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Tanta University, in coordination with Prof. Emad Atman, former Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development and University Coordinator for the cooperation agreement with the University of Bradford. The meeting was attended by Prof. Hoda Ismail, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Mohamed El Sawaf, Professor of Pediatric Surgery and Director of the Skills Development Lab at the Faculty.

At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Ahmed Ghonem, Dean of the Faculty and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board, welcomed the delegation of students. He emphasized that the purpose of this visit is to enhance mutual cultural and scientific relations and to strengthen the educational and research role through academic cooperation with foreign universities.
