During the visit of the Egyptian Health Council delegation in preparation for the institutional and programmatic accreditation of the Faculty of Medicine and University Hospitals at Tanta University, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine welcomed the delegation of the Supreme Committee for Continuing Professional Development of Human Medicine

Prof. Mohamed Hantira, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University and Chairman of the Board of University Hospitals, welcomed in his office the delegation of the Supreme Committee for Continuing Professional Development of Human Medicine from the Egyptian Health Council.

The delegation was headed by Prof. Fathy Khudair, Professor of Plastic Surgery and former Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Kasr Al-Ainy, Cairo University, and included Prof. Hany Hafez Lotfy, Professor of Diagnostic Radiology at the Military Medical Academy; Prof. Abeer Sabry, Professor of Internal Medicine at the Capital University; Prof. Sherif Shehata, Professor of Pediatric Surgery and former Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research at the Faculty of Medicine, Tanta University; along with Dr. Mostafa Mahmoud, Family Medicine Consultant and Coordinator for the Delta Governorates Training Program at the Ministry of Health.

The visit was part of the preparations for the institutional accreditation of the Faculty of Medicine and University Hospitals at Tanta University as accredited training centers, and for the accreditation of the Basic Life Support (BLS) program by the Egyptian Health Council.
