Prof. Mohamed Hantira, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University and Chairman of the Board of University Hospitals, inaugurated the First Annual Conference of the University Hospitals Infection Control Department, entitled “Changing the Culture to Improve the Quality of Patient Healthcare.”

During the conference, Prof. Ahmed Mohamed Ghoneim, Professor of Ophthalmology and former Dean of the Faculty, was honored in recognition of his efforts and support for the Infection Control Department throughout his six-year tenure as Dean.
