As the first of its kind at the Faculty of Medicine, Tanta University, and within the framework of the Faculty's positive participation in the presidential initiative "A New Beginning for Building the Egyptian Citizen," the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Tanta University, inaugurates the workshop titled " Cell transplant Techniques and Their Applications in Virology."

As the first of its kind at the Faculty of Medicine, Tanta University, and within the framework of the Faculty's positive participation in the presidential initiative "A New Beginning for Building the Egyptian Citizen," the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Tanta University, inaugurates the workshop titled " Cell transplant Techniques and Their Applications in Virology."

    Prof. Ahmed Ghoneim, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board, inaugurated a workshop on virus cultivation titled "Cell Transplant Techniques and Their Applications in Virology." The workshop, held over two days (October 30-31, 2024), took place at the Central Research Laboratory and the Department of Medical Microbiology.

This event was part of the Faculty of Medicine's positive participation in the presidential initiative "Bidaya" (A New Beginning for Building the Egyptian Citizen). The workshop was held under the patronage of Prof. Ahmed Ghoneim, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Louay Al-Ahwal, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Eman Issa, Head of the Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology, Director of the Central Laboratory, Prof. Mona Qattah, Director of the Public Service Center at the Faculty and Coordinator of the "Bidaya" initiative at the Faculty, and Prof. Mohamed Hantira, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research.

The event was also attended by Prof. Kamal Akasha, former Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research and a number of faculty members, teaching assistants, and participants from various Egyptian universities.
