Prof. Ahmed Ghoneim, the Dean of the Medicine Faculty - Tanta University and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, honored the team behind the accreditation of the Stroke Unit at the Center for Psychiatry and Neurological Disorders at Tanta University Hospitals as an advanced accredited center by the World Stroke Organization (WSO) for the treatment of strokes according to the highest international quality standards. The ceremony was attended by Prof. Hassan Attatwai, the Executive Director of University Hospitals, Prof. Hossam El-Sawi, the Head of the Department of Neurological and Psychiatric Diseases and the Director of the Center for Psychiatry, as well as Prof. Sayed Jad, Prof. Hassan Nassar, Prof. Wael Fadel, Prof. Ashraf Abu El-Safa, Prof. Ehab Shoukry, the Director of the Stroke Center, Prof. Ahmed El-Shamy, Prof. Ahmed Sowilam, the Director of the Main Hospital and the New Surgery Hospital, Prof. Ahmed Keshk, the Deputy Director of the Center for Psychiatry, Mr. Mohamed El-Barry, the General Manager of Financial and Administrative Affairs at University Hospitals, and several doctors and staff from the Stroke Unit and the Center for Psychiatry and Neurological Disorders, at the main conference hall in the center.
