Supporting and Developing Health Initiatives: Dean of Tanta Medicine Receives Prof. Mohamed Hassany, Assistant Minister of Health and Population for Public Health Initiatives

  Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, President of Tanta University, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Hantira, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board of Directors, received Prof. Dr. Mohamed Hassany, Assistant Minister of Health and Population for Public Health Initiatives, at his office at the New Surgery Hospital. The meeting aimed to discuss a number of issues related to public health initiatives and explore ways to support and develop them, with the goal of enhancing the quality of healthcare services provided to citizens.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mohamed Mokhtar El-Badawy, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research; Prof. Dr. Mohamed Gaber, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Dr. Hassan El-Tatawy, Executive Director of the University Hospitals; Prof. Dr. Ahmed Sweilem, Director of the Main Hospital and New Surgery Hospital; Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Baset, Head of the Department of Pediatrics; Prof. Dr. Heba El-Mahdy, Head of the Neonatal and Incubator Unit; Prof. Dr. Ragia Sherif; Prof. Dr. Heba Dawoud, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Head of the Genetic Diseases Unit; Dr. Amira Mubarak, Lecturer at the Genetic Diseases Unit; and Dr. Rasha Khodr, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Gharbia Governorate.

During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Hantira, Dean of the Faculty, affirmed that Tanta University, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, President of the University, and its university hospitals are fully committed to providing their scientific and service capabilities in support of these initiatives.

He noted that this cooperation represents a model of institutional partnership, demonstrating that collaboration between the two sides goes beyond administrative coordination and constitutes a comprehensive strategy to enhance the efficiency of healthcare services and meet the needs of citizens in Gharbia Governorate and neighboring governorates according to the highest standards of medical quality.
