Strategic Objectives of the Department:


1. Developing the infrastructure via:
• Periodic maintenance and continuous development for the infrastructure of the department.
• Dividing the labs into two sections for micro teaching.

2. Developing the institutional capability via:
• Upgrading the level of lab technicians at the department.

3. Upgrading the level of academic staff and graduates:
• Optimal activation of E-Learning.
• Encouraging scientific excellence among students.
• Holding workshops to upgrade the scientific level of students.
• Annual update of the library by buying new books and scientific journals.

4. Developing financial resources via:
• Activating Parasitic Diseases Diagnosis Unit to be a Special Unit.

5. Activating the role of the department in scientific research, community service and environmental development via:
• Including the research plan of the department within the Faculty's plan.
• Applying a plan for community service.
• Participation of students in the activities of community service and environmental development of the department.
