Vision:

Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University seeks to upgrade Medical Education Department to be pioneer among Egyptian and Arab Universities. The department seeks to improve the medical education system in cooperation with the other practical faculties in Egypt and the whole world in an integrated way.

Mission

** The department seeks to develop the medical education system at the Faculty via::**

1. Creating an interactive learning environment for students according to high quality standards.
2. Developing assessment methods at the Faculty.
3. Assisting the Faculty administration in making educational decisions by providing proofs through specialized research and developing various strategies for medical education in order to develop curricula.
4. Continuous training of academic staff at the Faculty to cope the international development in the field of medical education.
5. Stimulating creativity and innovation and supporting the integrated relationship between medical education and continuing education of modern medicine, in order to prepare qualified doctors who are able to provide distinguished medical and health care to the society, armed with professional medical ethics and social values.
