*About the department *

The Department of Chest Diseases at the Faculty of Medicine, Tanta University, is considered one of the leading departments in the field of diagnosis and treatment of lung diseases at the level of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The department provides many services to include:
The intensive care unit receives critical cases, as it contains invasive and non-invasive ventilators.
The department consists of 5 floors equipped to receive various cases, in addition to a basement
A unit for measuring sleep breathing disorders
Respiratory endoscopy unit
Ultrasound device for diagnosing chest diseases
The department participates in many medical convoys to the villages and centers of Tanta and neighboring centers.
