Prof. Magdi Sab' Declared, "Unlimited Support for Scientific Research at the University and Rewards for Students' Distinguished Research"

      The events of the forum of Bachelor student research at Public Health Department were launched today in the Seminar Room at the Faculty. It was under the patronage of Prof. Magdi Sab', Tanta University President; Prof. Mustafa Al Sheikh, Vice University President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Ahmed Ghonaim, Faculty Dean; and Prof. Walid Samy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs. The Forum was organized by Public Health Department headed by Prof. Nehal Salah, head of the department and Dr. Shaimaa Sa'id, rapporteur of the forum.

     Tanta University President confirmed, in his speech, on the progress and development of the University in scientific research according to the highly progressed ranks that the University had achieved in world ranking which reflected its pioneer role in serving the society. Moreover, he mentioned the University's complete support to scientific research and working on developing it inside the University. Furthermore, he confirmed on supporting projects of academic staff and assistant staff and research published in international scientific journals with impact factor. A reward was given for each research published in one of those journals. Other amounts of money were to fund students' graduation projects in bachelor or licentiate degree.

      Prof. Mustafa Al Sheikh declared that the University always sought for developing and improving Postgraduate Studies and Research Sector through distinguished academic programs in different scientific specializations, in addition to major partnerships with other local and international universities. Prof. Al Sheikh mentioned the University's encouragement to bachelor or licentiate students on international research publication in order to upgrade the University.

     Prof. Ahmed Ghonaim praised, in his speech, the role of Tanta University in supporting scientific research as one of the pillars of the University. He also clarified that Tanta Faculty of Medicine had become one of the pioneer Faculties on the Arab and international levels because of its scientific cadres in all specializations.

     The Forum was attended by Prof. Hassan Al Tatawy, General Manager of Tanta University Hospitals; Prof. Sahar Hazza', Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Kamal Zu'air, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research; and a great number of academic staff, assistant staff and students.
